April 13 - 15 - Ola Belle Reed Songwriter’s Retreat with instructors Cathy Fink, Claire Lynch and Sam Gleaves. Held at the Ashe Civic Center, 962 Mount Jefferson Road, West Jefferson, North Carolina. April 19, 6:00 PM, free and open to the public -Listening Party for ROOTED WORDS: KENTUCKY WRITERS ON THE LAND, an art exhibit by Arwen Donahue. A presentation by Arwen will also include readings by Bobbie Ann Mason, Erik Reece, Gray Zeitz, Jonathan Greene, Leatha Kendrick, Mark Schimmoeller, Maurice Manning, Mary Ann Taylor-Hall, and Richard Taylor at the Lexington Public Library Farish Theater, 140 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky 40507. A reception will follow the event just across the street at the Downtown Arts Center's Community Gallery. The reception will feature food by chef Ouita Michel and music by Sam Gleaves.

April 21 - Fink, Marxer, Gleaves Stonefield Cellars Winery, 8220 NC Highway 68 North, Stokesdale, NC, 27357.  Marcy Marxer will teach a ukulele workshop, Cathy Fink and Sam Gleaves will teach harmony singing. May 25 - 27 - Folk College, a weekend of workshops, concerts, coaching sessions, jamming, singing and dancing at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania!
